Noisy Drain Pump? How To Replace Drain Pump LG Top Load Washer LG WT7300CW

Does your LG top load washer make noise when draining or not drain at all? I’ll show you how to disassemble the LG WT7300CW washing machine and replace the drain pump step-by-step while providing tips along the way. Disassembly required to remove and replace the drain pump is not difficult with this top loader and only requires a few tools. NOTE: If you take apart your machine it will likely void the warranty. If your washer makes funny noises when the tub drains or isn't draining, there may be something lodged in the pump or the pump may need to be replaced. Ordering replacement parts for this washer can be a challenge given the original pump model AHA75673402 is no longer available; however, drain pump models AHA75673404 and AGF30196101 are suitable replacement parts according to LG. I used AHA75673404 since the WT7300CW was listed under compatible models.
