How can a vegetarian build a strong physique without whey protein?

The main struggle? Vegetarian protein sources are limited, and most of them come packed with extra carbs and fats. But don’t worry, I’ve got a solution.

First, multiply your bodyweight by 1.5 — that’s how much protein you need as a normal gym-goer.
Many people will say, “Bro, you take whey every day, why give this advice?” But honestly, in my first 5 years of training, I never used supplements. Budget didn’t allow it. I hit my protein goals only through food.

The best hack?
1. Choose protein sources first (soya chunks, paneer, rajma, milk, curd, etc.) based on your requirement.
2. Count those calories.
3. Then fill the rest with roti, sabzi, rice, fruits.

This way, you’ll easily hit your protein target and stay within your calorie budget — even without whey protein.
