Rain or shine - Euro BMX 2024 in Verona

A month after the Rock Hill disaster, I'm off to Verona for the European BMX Racing Championships... and not without difficulty, since I had to pay triple the registration fee because I missed the deadline!
This time, my son and father joined us at the campsite for a few good evenings. I chose not to arrive until Friday evening, so I missed the trials that were taking place beforehand. As a result, we'll be doing two warm-up laps to get our heads around this track, which for once is technical.
Sunday got off to a good start, but a nice little hailstorm came up before the final... and I had to motivate some of the finalists to get out and run! For fear of having a remake of Rock Hill and not being able to finish the race once again.
A nod to Paolo Fantoni, who must have seen red when the storm arrived. Well done for the organization and we look forward to seeing you again.
