12hr nrg renegade tribal set* has been the most difficult set I’ve evr worked on so far so please be kind as this one was no stroll in the park or whatev they say & required more discipline than im used to to get this right so was def not having fun by the time this recording took place compared to at the event. Nearly gave up on recording this last practice session for the rave but aftr like 6 takes id finally gotten those unconventional ques & counts down; was a real struggle @ the time & lost confidence in my ability to dj aftr the first few attempts or so in recording this but glad i saw this thru & was received better at the event than id anticipated trying something Very different. The first two tracks were coproduced by dj fade; a legendary hhc producer who passed away in late may but Id already wanted to open with dj demo & fade’s rip1b for the spacy sounding meteor shower intro to connect the previous renegade set to this one. This was also the first set where Sunset Regime would be the common denominator as oppose to dj dna; having 7 tracks of his b2b2b whether it be him alone or in the trio(Ramos, Supreme & Sunset Regime)or a duo from the trio. *full disclosure the tribal stuff doesn’t start until 12:40 but goes til’ 41:50 before going in an even more jungle direction aftr dj slam’s ’my life’ & lastly the very last track was breakbeat hardcore(not hhc)but made by hhc producers.
