Wood gasification using PeeStone Filters 20161210

Описание к видео Wood gasification using PeeStone Filters 20161210

Initial trial run of the new PeaStone filters seems to hold promise by reducing the soot and moisture before it enters the main filters and eventually the engine . Ease of maintenance is a big plus with these filters. As they evolve , clean out ports will be added whereby they can be flushed out in place, ( thank you CNCMachiningisfun ).
I'll add one more observation: During the initial run the day before I noted that the top 1/3 of the filters were getting warm to the touch while the bottom 2/3 remained cool. When the stone was emptied from the filter for inspection it seemed that the moisture collected in the top 1/3, as we all witnessed. Was the Dew Point reached in this area of the filter? Perhaps another modification is needed such as a copper coil inside with cold water or antifreeze being pumped through to keep the stone cooler than the incoming woodgas in order to help condense the moisture. Your thoughts? Thanks for watching.
