This is a book about a little mouse called William who longs to see snow. William loves to visit his Grandpa and play with his snow globe. Grandpa hands William the snow globe and suggests that William should make a wish whilst shaking it. There is only one thing William wants to wish for - and that is snow. However, after making his wish there is still no snow that day or the next and so William makes his own imaginary snow games to play including making it snow by using the feathers from a pillow and building a snowman from cardboard boxes. Eventually, William becomes fed up with waiting for it to snow and decides to visit his Grandpa's house to make another wish with the snow globe to see if a second wish could make it snow. William is a little too impatient and tries to reach for the snow globe which is up high and William has to stretch his arms up to try to grab it. Unfortunately, William accidentally sends the snow globe crashing to the floor. Grandpa is now sad that his snow globe is broken. What can William do to make it up to his Grandpa? Well, lets just say there is a very happy ending for both Grandpa and William.
