Sustainability is a top priority at Ritter Sport. The manufacturer of the popular German chocolate squares has received numerous awards for its innovative ideas for sustainably managing resources and the environment. With Schubert’s support, the company is now also able to sustainably optimise its previously outsourced logistics processes and costs. The time-consuming process of manually sorting and packing the 100 g chocolate bars for sale is now fully automated and dealt with on-site within the production chain by the new Schubert machine. Thanks to a single-piece carton specially developed together with Schubert, Ritter is able to save an additional 30 per cent of storage space.
