3rd Gen Camaro Suspension Upgrades (Front) Detroit Speed

Scott Timmons (CamaroFamily) and Jason Howerton (EC Auto and Iron Fabrication in Gilroy, CA) installing Detroit Speed front suspension in our daily driven 1986 Chevrolet IROC-Z Camaro, named #IROCdaily.

Follow along as we improve the handling performance and eliminate squeaks by replacing our old stock front suspension with new Detroit Speed front suspension.

Note: Use the instructions included with the Detroit Speed components for proper installation and torque specifications. Their torque specifications might be different than the factory torque specifications due to the use of different bolts and other factors.

Always work on your vehicle on a level surface and use proper equipment (lift, floor jack, jack stands, strapping, and hand tools) while raising, supporting, and lowering your vehicle and its components. To do all of the tasks performed in this video, you will be working around very heavy components (including the car and the rear axle housing), so be very careful and use proper equipment to support them, because these will rotate and move during the removal and installation process.
