Haleakala volcano Maui, what to expect. From the sunny beach to artic temperatures in just 1 hour!

Aloha Ohana! The last time we saw the last eruption path on Maui and this time we are going to the culprit of that eruption. Haleakala!
This is roughly 1,5 hours up from Kahului and it's the quickest ascend in the shortest time in the world.

The views are amazing eventhough there isn't much to see apart from emptiness, but that's the beauty of it! The silence, the bliss of nothingness. How many stimuli we get every single day right? We don't have many place where we can be in silence anymore.

You have various hiking options around here but do your research! It's not something do on the fly. You need to be prepared for various climates and weather changes. The air is thinner so be aware of any health conditions you may have and also they advice against diving the next day or coming to the top after diving the day before.
