Street Fighter EX2 Plus [PS1] - play as CPU Shadow Geist

Описание к видео Street Fighter EX2 Plus [PS1] - play as CPU Shadow Geist

This is a play-through using Shadow Geist in the PS1 version of Street Fighter EX2 Plus. Read on below for more information...

CPU Shadow Geist is a hidden character you can fight against in Arcade mode if certain conditions are met. He is an unplayable character.

===== Shadow Geist's story =====
He was once a normal man living under a harsh dictatorship. His wife was taken away by the government and his daughter subsequently went missing. Fueled by anger as a result, he enhanced his body with cybernetic parts and became a violent vigilante. He fights against the dictatorship of his country in order to protect the people and prevent them from suffering the same fate as his family did.

===== About CPU Shadow Geist =====
This is the CPU version of him whom you can fight against on Stage 3 or 4 in Arcade mode if certain conditions are met. In the game's data, he is a completely different and separate character from regular Shadow Geist.

Despite being a different/separate character in the game's data, he seems to be exactly the same as the regular Shadow Geist. The only difference between the two is that for CPU Shadow, he has the special pre-fight intro whenever he is selected as a CPU-controlled character (for example in Versus mode). If a human player selects CPU Shadow, you do not get the special pre-fight intro.

===== Additional Information =====

---- His Command List name reads '???', but the moves listed are Kairi's moves.

---- If you complete single-player Arcade mode with him, you'll get Kairi's portrait image and ending text.

---- He is programmed in as an actual separate character in the game's data.

---- Despite being a 'separate' character in the game, he is programmed in a way where if CPU Shadow is already selected by a player, and the other player selects regular Shadow with the same button, it will register regular Shadow with an alternative colour palette. This is logical because a human player can choose regular Shadow and meet CPU Shadow in Arcade mode.

===== About PS1 SFEX2P =====
This is one of the best fighting games on the PS1. Apart from the loading times and lower graphics quality, this is generally better than the arcade version, mainly because it has more features and modes. It uses a remixed AST soundtrack for it's music themes, but unfortunately it does not offer an option of using the original OST arcade tracks. The PS1 port also sees the return of the character Hayate, who mysteriously went missing for the arcade version.
