Former Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce says Labor is “vouching for votes” at the next election, after voting yes to Palestine becoming a full member of the UN.

Mr Joyce told Sky News Australia that Hamas “started this war” with Israel.

“Israel is being attacked by people who say that they want to remove Israel from the river to the sea.”
