Cassava cake is a well known Filipino Dessert (Kakanin) made from freshly grated cassava mixed with milk (Condensed or evaporated) or coconut milk and sugar. It is sweet, moist and a little bit chewy. Usually it is cooked in the oven but in this video, I will be showing you a different way of cooking it, which is steaming. #cassava #filipino #kakanin #sweet
