Today on Booze On The Rocks we make the Jamaican X Cocktail Recipe. This is an easy six ingredient tropical cocktail that does not have any rum in it. It is in fact a layered tequila cocktail. Try it out and let me know what you think.

JAMAICAN X

1.5 oz/45 ml Silver Tequila
.5 oz/15 ml Orange Liqueur
.5 oz/15 ml Blue Curacao
.5 oz/15 ml Lime Juice
.5 oz/15 ml Grenadine
2 oz/60 ml Pineapple Juice

Method

1. Prep Martini glass with half a sugar rim.
2. Add Pineapple juice to the Martini Glass and place off to the side.
3. Add First four ingredients on the list to a shaker tin.
4. Shake with ice for 10-15 seconds.
5. Using a spoon slowly pour the alcohol mixture down the side of the Martini glass to allow it to layer.
6. Add the grenadine slowly again using the spoon to allow the grenadine to slowly settle in the bottom of the glass.
7. Garnish with a Lemon Wedge. Wedge.
