Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) was confronted by a group of climate activists as he left the Capitol this week. Video shows members of Hunger Strike 4 Climate Justice practically begging Manchin to support more serious climate provisions as part of Joe Biden and the Democrats' spending package.

“Why are you blocking our bill? We really need this bill. I'm scared of my future," one activist told Manchin.

Sam Seder: There have been climate activists who are on a hunger strike and uh they're in uh Capitol Hill...or i should say, just on Capitol Hill, um and a one of these hunger strikers, a woman named Abby, approached Joe Manchin yesterday to urge him to stop blocking the provisions in the reconciliation bill to deal with climate change and here's how that went uh Joe Manchin seemed a little bit uncomfortable.
