Summer Saturday Railtours.D1015 Western Champion Thunders To Paignton Airshow 01.06.24 - 4K

The 1st of June dawned sunny & with my 1st train and my connection at Bristol running on time things looked good.That was until i got to Bristol to find my connection was to be cancelled upon arrival at BTM due to cattle on the line at Wellington.So a later GWR to Penzance train it was to be,sorry for the rubbish capture of D213 but my train was about to leave & then having to stand from Bristol to Dawlish things could only get better! The rest of the day was excellent but challenging and seeing D1015 Western Champion masquerading as D1011 Western Thunderer working Pathfinders “The English Riviera Airshow Railtour”thunder past Dawlish & Cockwood Harbour made it all worth while.Enjoy the days events with a bit of steam also👍
