Peregrine Falcon in Central Park New York City | Preening, Calling and Flying out around Reservoir

Описание к видео Peregrine Falcon in Central Park New York City | Preening, Calling and Flying out around Reservoir

A Peregrine falcon visiting Central Park in NYC and taking a rest on a tree in North West of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir in frigid winter.

A Peregrine falcon was staying around the same spot and busy in looking around, pruning, stretching and calling for over hours while lots of birders gathered to see the rare appearance and waited for the final flying-out. A bond eagle was flying over Reservoir as well.

Reservoir is the biggest pond in Central Park and usually freezes only the surface partially and attracts lots of ducks, geese and gulls especially on freezing days which also attracts raptors such as falcons, hawks, eagles and owls.
