Описание к видео Help Build Warm, Safe Homes for Stray Dogs this winter

On a small piece of land in Haskovo, Bulgaria, 10 stray dogs have found safety. Gathered in one place where they are fed, walked and assisted with their medical needs. The most recent of them are leg trauma operation, eye malformation operation and serious gut disease treatment.

One man, Ivan, has been caring for them quietly and passionately, without any financial support from others. Doing all of the physical work required daily. He placed together used items that are no longer in use at home — old rugs, couches, and pieces of wood — to give the dogs some protection from rain, heat and cold temporarily. While this has helped them survive, these makeshift shelters are not suitable long-term, especially during harsh winters. Henceforth, he is currently keeping 3 dogs at his home to protect them from extreme cold weather conditions while their health improves (post surgery).

Ivan has personally been covering the cost of all the care of the 10 dogs himself. We now want to join his efforts and help with providing truly warm dog homes for the cold weather coming.

Our goal is simple and practical - to buy proper, insulated dog houses that need to be raised off the ground, weatherproof, sized appropriately for each dog. Why we’re asking for help - although Ivan continues to support them daily and has already covered significant medical costs, buying 10 proper dog homes is more than we can manage currently.

Rather than involving large organisations or adding administrative overheads, we want to keep this project direct, honest and hands-on. Every donation goes straight to improving the dogs’ living conditions.

All funds raised will be used for:
Ready-made kennels
Insulation and bedding
Setup on site in Haskovo (Bulgaria) - a ground cover around kennels to help dogs stay out of mud.

We understand how important trust is, especially when supporting animals in another country. So, we commit to posting progress updates and showing completed shelters in use.

If you can’t donate, sharing this page helps just as much. The more people who see these dogs, the better chance they have at safety and comfort.

Thank you for reading, supporting, and caring ❤️

Together, we can turn temporary shelter into real homes!
