Known for his flair, fire, and goal-scoring instinct, Castillo shared how his family’s journey from Peru to Miami shaped his love for the game — and how he built an incredible career across 16 professional teams and 23 stops in the U.S.

Mirko looked back on winning championships with the Chicago Power (NPSL 1990-91) and the San Diego Sockers (MSL 1991-92), his wildest moments from the CISL era, and why the 1997 Twisters remain one of the most special teams he ever played for. He also reflected on life after the league and his current work as a youth soccer coach in Houston.
