Beat the Heat with River Smallies! - (South Holston River Bass Fishing)

Wading in the river is one of the best ways to target smallmouth bass. Not only does it allow you to slow down and work a general area to its entirety, but it also allows you to escape the dreadful heat of the Summer Sun. With air temperatures in the mid 90s and the water temperatures not far behind, wading is a good way to cool off and get hooked up! My goal today is to inspire you to give wading a go if you've never done so before, because honestly, this has to be one of my FAVORITE tactics for catching HOG river smallies; nothing beats the 1 on 1 combat when you're waist deep in water. Everything from deer encounters to extreme changes in the water level to missing the bass that could've been my 5 pounder... All of that and more on this episode of TackleJox!
