This is an informal tour in two parts of our small 5,000 square foot back yard in zone 9b, in Upper Napa Valley. We get hot summers here and cold frosty winters. I’m experimenting with pushing the zones and growing several varieties of Avocado trees, some hardy and some a bit less so. And we have other fruit trees, too. This is our second year in the garden, where half of it was installed last spring and summer, and the other half installed this past spring and summer.
