Watch Ruben the lion take his first wobbly steps after years in a zoo, the last five of which he was all alone in a tiny concrete cell as the zoo closed and all the other animals were relocated. Thanks to an epic journey across the world organised by Animals Defenders International (ADI) and Qatar Airways Cargo, Ruben’s rehabilitation at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary (ADIWS) in Free State, South Africa has begun.
