Despite various emotions associated with love, many believe that true love transcends all of these emotions and is beyond any form of attachment or expectation.Though many greats in various fields have created magnificent bodies of work taking different routes to proclaim their devotion towards the Lord, our Carnatic Music has had no dearth of poets, saints and composers that have created compositions with complex emotions within the folds of Love (broadly Vatsalyam, Shringaram and Viraham).
