Ingredients:
2 large sausages (bratwurst, Italian sausage, or your favorite variety)
1 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter

Directions:
Prepare the Sausages:
1- Start by making a straight cut into the sausage. Then, using a sharp knife, carefully make angled cuts along the sausage, connecting each cut to the previous straight cut. Continue this pattern, cutting deep enough to pierce the sausage but not so deep that it cuts through entirely. This will create a spiral effect when the sausage is stretched.
2- Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil or melted butter to a frying pan.
Cook the Sausages:
3- Place the sausages in the pan and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are evenly browned and cooked through.
Serve:
4- Remove the sausages from the pan and serve hot.
Serving Suggestions: Serve the spiral-cut sausages on a bun with your favorite toppings, such as sautéed peppers, tomatoes, relish, mustard, ketchup, or barbecue sauce.
