Met deze softball fielding simulator kunnen spelers oefenen op het verwerken van geslagen ballen. Zodra ze de VR headset opzetten staan ze op een virtueel softballveld en krijgen ballen op zich af geslagen. Hiermee trainen ze het inschattten van de snelheid en plaats van de bal en hun reactievermogen.

De simulator volgt de bewegingen van de speler en reageert daarop. Het niveau van de oefening kan aangepast woorden door de snelheid van de bal te verhogen of verlagen en door de spreiding van de ballen aan te passen. Met deze simulator kun je trainen op elke plek (minimaal 7 bij 7 meter) waar je maar wil, onafhankelijk van het weer.

This softball fielding simulator enables players to practice their fielding skills using a virtual enviroment. As soon as they put on the VR headset they are standing on a virtual softball field and get balls hit towards them from a batter. This improves their ability to judge the speed and the direction of the ball as well as their reaction time.

The simulator tracks their motion and responds to that. The difficulty of the drill can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the speed of the ball and the spread around the player. Using this simulator players can practice in any location (7 by 7 meters; 20 by 20 feet), regardless of the weather.
