Goodbye Technoblade

Описание к видео Goodbye Technoblade

I never interacted with Techno, wish I did, but he was one of my favorite content creator out there. A few years ago, I came across this random youtuber called "Skeppy". It was way back then, when he made videos about peanut butter and teamspeak trolls and I became a fan of his content. Few years later, I came across this video called "Youtubers cyberbullying each other" by Skeppy featuring F1NN5TER, hannapeyton and Technoblade.

Now I had heard of Technoblade before, but never actually got around to watching his content. After watching that video, he immediately became my favorite minecraft youtuber just by his natural energy. There was also the Potato war that happened. I didn't take part in it but I knew of it, some of my friends even built a statue of Techno during that time.

And then came the Dream SMP. I found out about that SMP via Technoblade... kinda. I saw that video by this "TommyInnit" guy titled "I finally teamed with Dream and Technoblade" and was really interested by seeing Dream and Techno fight side by side after watching the 100,000$ Mr. Beast duel. I really liked Tommy's chaotic vibe and decided to watch more of his stuff. Funny enough, the second video I watched from him was when Techno joined the SMP to help them in their fight agaisnt jschlatt.

After the L'manberg war, I decided to bingewatch all (most) of Techno's vids. From Minecraft Monday to Skeppy troll videos. From The Great Potato War to Minecraft VR. I absolutely loved every single one of them

Then the news hit. Techno posted his video announcing he had cancer. At first I was in shock and disbelief. But what shocked me the most was not that he had cancer, it was his positive attitude and how he was laughing at the face of the disease. When the second update video happened, I was even more impressed by his idea of making amputee jokes. I respected the hell out of it and wished I was as positive as he is.

But then the unthinkable happened. Techno lost his battle to cancer, although I would argue that he at least tied since he took his cancer with him. A few days before the news, I was in a call with my friend and I was discussing how we hadn't heard of Techno in a bit and how I was worried that the worst had happened. For once in my life, I wish I had been wrong.

Just like everyone else, I went through the 5 stages of grief. I was in disbelief at first. I was angry at cancer after that, and the other 2 stages were also there (not saying that cause I totally didn't forget what they were) and then, after a few days, I finally accepted that he was gone, but not forgotten.

He was a source of inspiration to all of us. His unique energy and sense of humor made us all laugh and his positive attitude brought us all comfort. I'm glad I got to live to witness Technoblade. If I had another 100 lives, I think I would choose to be a Technoblade fan every single time.

I do have one funny memory related to Techno. I was playing Hypixel at the same time as he was streaming, and got locked into Build Battle because his community had filled the BB lobbies since he was playing too. I asked in the waiting room why I couldn't leave and people would respond "Technoblade". The impact on the guy to be able to fill the lobbies to trap anyone who wishes to leave the game.

I'll miss him a lot, but grateful for the time we had with him. The Blade will never die as long as his memory lives on.

Rest well.
