Pentax 645 NII Review

Pentax's last medium-format film camera, the 645 NII, was an incremental upgrade from the N. The NII is highly sought after for the MLU function as well as its meter, shutter accuracy, ability to keep film moving quickly and flat through the body, and overall image quality and capabilities due to a spectacular lineage of Pentax 645 lenses. With a 67 to 645 adapter, a whole range of Pentax 67 lenses, and their stunning performance, also becomes available. The 645 NII, though far from a perfect camera, gives photographers far more bang for the buck than most digital offerings. As a secondary body for digital medium-format shooters, the 645 NII offers a lot of added capability for a minimal startup cost.
