This video will show you how to bypass the restrictions of the large raft on single player. This works perfectly as a means to transport logs. It can't hold as many logs but its much easier to control with one player. I often use this setup in multiplayer when my friends are not playing so I can do my own thing. I recommend you test this build in creative mode first, it can be a bit tricky to do at first but it gets easier.
