Fight for Control of Little Dixie: 1861 Civil War Battle of Lexington MO & Anderson House Tour

The Battle of Lexington was fought from September 18th to the 20th, 1861 and resulted in the surrender of Union forces to General Sterling Price.

The courthouse has a cannon ball stuck in one of its columns.
