The Duquesne Incline is a funicular located on the South Bank of the Ohio River in Pittsburgh PA. It, along with its sister, the Monongahela (Colloquially, Mon) Incline. The incline was originally opened in 1877 as part of a series of Funiculars that ran up and down Mt. Washington. The Mon and Duquesne Incline are the only two left of these, and they are historic landmarks owned by the Port Authority of Allegheny County.

At the top of the incline is Grandview Avenue, as the name suggests, you can get stunning overviews of the city from the street, it is, in fact, one of the hallmarks of the city, as many photographers use Grandview as their base for their Pittsburgh Photos due to its stunning overview of the city.

Presently, Incline Fares are exactly the same as Port Authority of Allegheny County Bus/Light Rail fares: $2.50 with a ConnectCard (Which are $1 per card at a supported machine), or $2.75 Cash Fare. It says in the Incline and is widely known that the fare is only $2.50, but be prepared with extra quarters if you only have cash fare, as there was a fare hike in 2017 that upped cash fare by 25 cents but left card fare the same.
