The Best PS2 RPGs of All Time

The Playstation 2 was a behemoth for RPGS, with hit after classic hit being released during its six year reign of the console market. We decided it was high-time to take a look back at this RPG machine and talk about our picks for the Top 10 PS2 RPGs of all-time.

The PlayStation brand has always been synonymous with JRPGs, or Japanese Role Playing Games, but the PS2’s RPG library also included several excellent western rpgs, and great ports of popular computer RPGs. Many popular RPGs would eventually find their way onto different Best PlayStation 2 Games lists, but particular list, voted on by the IGN staff, is strictly about PlayStation 2 RPGs.

WIthout giving away too much, you’ll see a wide selection of PS2 RPGs from developers like, Square-Enix (formerly SquareSoft), Atlus, Vanillaware, Snowblind Studios, and more!
