Sligo Rovers 2-3 Waterford FC - The Showgrounds - SSE Airtricity League Premier Division [30.6.18]

The Blues resumed action in the SSE Airtricity League Premier following the mid-season break with Alan Reynolds back in the dugout from where he watched his side pick up all three points at the Showgrounds.

First half goals from Stanley Aborah, John Martin and Bastien Hery were enough to win a tough encounter on a beautiful evening to leave the Blues sitting in 3rd place and well in the hunt for European football for the first time in over 30 years.

Adam Wixted and Seamus Sharkey found the mark for Sligo Rovers.

Next up for the Blues is an SSE Airtricity League Premier Division home clash at the RSC with Bohemian FC on the 6th of July with a 7.45pm kick off.
