THE OLD CRAPPY PUMP: ALDI Gardenline BG-AW (built-in autoflow switch)
Mains supply: 230V ~ 50 Hz
Power rating: 1100 W
Delivery rate max. 3600 l/h
(developed a cracked housing so water gushing everywhere)

THE NEW PUMP: GIANTZ STAGE (autoflow switch a secondary component)
Body material: Stainless steel
Shaft material: Carbon steel
Hosing material: Stainless steel and alloy
Mechanical seal: Ceramic/carbon
Voltage: 240V
Maximum input power: 1500W
Pump rate: 72L/min or 4,320L/H
Quite more water pressure with this new pump than the old - so, yes....happy.

With any metal to metal thread joint components, a LIQUID THREAD SEAL is always superior over teflon tape. Trust me on this.
