Welcome back! My name is ballerscuba, and this is Video Games Over Time. We are still in 1986, continuing our adventure through The Bard’s Tale II: The Destiny Knight.

In this episode, we start by going over the massive level grinding I did to bring our mages to their full potential, unlocking every spell in the game. With the party stronger than ever, we head out to discover how to unlock our next challenge: Oscon’s Fortress.

Inside the fortress, we climb floor after floor, facing dangerous battles and solving numerous puzzles. Unfortunately, my first attempt required a full redo offscreen with the proper setup. But persistence pays off — we push through to the end, take on Snare 5, and secure another crucial piece of the Destiny Wand. Finally, we regroup and prepare ourselves for the challenges of the next dungeon.
