Zayed International Airport Abudhabi | Terminal A | Pearl lounge | Complete tour

Zayed International Airport is one of the fastest growing airport hubs in the world and it is home to Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE. It is the second busiest airport in the UAE after Dubai International Airport. Twice awarded the ‘ Best Airport in the Middle East’ by the World Airport Awards, it id a testament to its exceptional service and facilities.

In this video, I have given a tour of the newly opened Terminal A and the Pearl Lounge. Terminal A is a premier destination for transit and connecting flights. Some of the airlines that operate from the new terminal include Etihad Airways, Air Arabia AbuDhabi, Wizz Air Abudhabi as well as 15 other international airlines. It was opened in November 2023. This 3$ billion building is one of the largest airport terminals in the world and it is capable of handling 79 planes at once and 11,000 passengers per hour. Terminal A is not just an airport, it is a work of art that seamlessly blends modern aesthetics with cultural influences. It features a wide range of cutting edge technologies, including nine biometric touch points with self service kiosks to expedite screening and boarding processes, and minimize waiting times, alongside an advanced baggage handling system to ensure a smooth and digitized travel experience.

This new terminal delivers a new standard of airport experience for both leisure and business travelers.

Pearl Lounge is situated on Level 4 and it is a pretty large lounge with a huge terrace and has a great selection of food and drinks.

Flexible private rooms that can be separated into two smaller or one large room.
