In this video I’m going to talk to you about what to think about before giving up the nine to five to become a potter…

I’ve been a full time potter for nearly 8 years now. One of my goals in my career is to share my experience with other potters to help them navigate their own journey.

There are many different ways of making a living from pottery, and everyone’s personal situation is entirely unique. There really isn’t a one size fits all formula to give up a stable job and throw mud for a living.

There are so many aspects to consider I can’t hope to talk about everything in one short video. (Hence why this video is called part I😉). But I am going to try and give you a starting point… In this video, amongst other things, I talk about:

Do you need a degree in ceramics to become a potter?
