On Public Service this week, we shall have the reaction from no less than the Chairman of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board regarding the truth behind another PUJ fare hike circulating amongst our roads.

LTFRB Chairman Martin Delgra III said that there’ll be a proposed matrix for fare increase in Public Utility Jeepneys but the Technical Working Group is still working on that.

Moreover, the Chairman said that the transport group, PASANG MASDA, has been given a paper and that the TWG will work from there.

Atty. Delgra also shared the current formula of the agency and stressed that change in fuel prices trigger adjustments on the said formula. In addition, the impact on commuters is also being considered.
