Vlogmas Day 16 | 3 Recipes Using Boxed Cake Mix

Coffee Cake
1 box yellow cake mix, prepared according to package directions
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1-2 tbsp cinnamon (according to taste, we like a lot of cinnamon)
Powdered sugar
Milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Prepare yellow cake mix according to package directions, sit aside. Combine granulated sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl. Layer half the cake mix in baking dish, top with half cinnamon mixture, add last of cake mix and top with remaining cinnamon mixture. Bake according to box directions. For frosting combine 2 cups of powdered sugar and 1/4 cup of milk. You can add more milk and sugar until you have reached your desired consistency. I like a thicker frosting. Ice cake after has cooled for 5 minutes. Let frosting sit for 10 minutes and serve cake warm.

Hot Chocolate Cake
1 Box chocolate cake mix
1 box chocolate pudding
1 pack of hot chocolate mix
1-3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Marshmallows
Chocolate syrup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine cake mix, pudding, hot chocolate mix, and milk. Spread into a prepared 9x13 baking dish. Top with chocolate chips. Bake for 35 minutes. Switch oven to broil and top cake with marshmallows. Broil for 1-2 minutes DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM OVEN. Drizzle with chocolate syrup. Serve warm with cool whip of desired.

Reese Cup Cake
1 box chocolate cake mix prepared according to box directions
2 Cups of peanut butter
powdered sugar
milk
Reese cups

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Prepare cake mix according to package and bake according to package. Let cake cool for 5 minutes. Melt 1 cup of peanut butter., poke holes in cake and pour peanut butter over the top. Let cool completely. Combine 1 cup peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk for frosting. Frost cooled cake and top with chopped Reese cups.
