Downmix 5.1 Surround to Stereo Fold-down (Lo/Ro)

In this video I explain how to manually downmix a 5.1 Surround Sound mix to Stereo using two different methods. In the first method, we split the 5.1 Printmaster tracks into mono, pan them into stereo space, and then make mix adjustments using a LUFS meter and Limiter to compress the dynamic range. In the second method, we split the 5.1 Stem tracks into mono, and then continue to do all of the same steps as the first method. Also just to note, you will need a Pro Tools HD or Ultimate license to be able to mix in 5.1.
