"The standard of truth has been erected: no unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing, persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, calumny may defame, but the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, till the purposes of God shall be accomplished and the great Jehovah shall say the work is done."

The key to learning these scripture songs is repetition. We have found that the following formula generally works: Listen to the same song three times a day, for three different days. For a couple of those times, read along in the text. As the melody begins to become familiar, do your best to sing along.

After learning a scripture song, try to sing it often enough that you retain it (every couple weeks or so should do the trick). Before long, you will find the word of God popping into your head as you go about your day!
