"The Seventh Seal" in COLOR (Det sjunde inseglet) (1957) (Full Movie)

This is the result of processing an entire movie through a deep-learning AI called DeOldify that is available for free use via Google Colab the link to which you can find below.

The Process:
Since trying to process the entire movie at once turned out to be unsuccessful due to insufficient memory, I had to cut the movie into 10 parts of 10 minutes in length (using Premiere Pro, though any video editing software would do). All of the 10 parts had to be uploaded to one of the few video streaming websites that the AI can work with. Following a simple tutorial available on the author's GitHub page and giving the AI a simple YouTube link is all that it took to get it going. It took me around one hour and 15 minutes for it to process a part and another 15 minutes to download it to my hard disk. Once I had all the parts I put them together into the result that you are seeing above.

Ignoring the flickering black robes and shadows and a few cases where it would blend objects of similar textures into one, I was pretty pleased with the result. Other ways of coloring videos have been present for quite some time, but none this fast. The entire thing was done in the period of one month and the work and skill input are minimal and the whole thing being available to everyone makes it just that much easy.
