Where is the lure guys? A few false starts & Tilly the Beaglier bites through the line

A big Monday at the farm today. Uncle Luke was sure today was the day he was going to get the call that baby was coming. Oh dear. No call I’m afraid. Not today 🙈😆

Bandit was happy to be back at the farm. He was doing zoomies this morning and telling us to hurry up out the gate for bush walking. Bush walking??? I don’t think so. Really. I think he’s just too smart and knows we have to bush walk to get to lure. His favourite.

The lure machine was moved which put the dogs off for a little bit, but it wasn’t long until they found it. Then it was on! A few false starts. Tilly the Beaglier bit through it a couple times too.

Luke talks about Joey’s training and her progress. He also talks about the weeds in the grass. For those that don’t know what bindis are, which is the main reason we keep our paddocks clear of weeds, they’re a spiky weed that hurts your bare feet. In our case, it hurts the dogs. But we are bindi free, everywhere on the farm!

Back through the bush to the playground for Swiss ball. The pack is calm and recovering from a few big lure runs. The walk is a slow pace. The Vizslas however, are not happy with the pace. And then there’s Franky. He’s doing 360s in front of Luke trying to hurry the pack up. Standard. For Franky that is!

In the pool, it’s the Vizslas favourite time of day. Bandit it outnumbered… but I don’t think he cares. More players for his piggy game.

Doug goes for a swim and wants to swim again. Arthur who has been working on his water confidence is really showing a lot of improvement, today he got in with some encouragement from Luke.

Sisters Mavi and Maya the Shepskis (Husky X Swiss Shepherd) had a wonderful day together. They’ve been coming separately for a while now working on their confidnece and Involvement In the pack without the security of each other. Siblings tend to stay together and can sometimes keep to themselves. But today after several months of working on their involvement they both had a fantastic day. Well done Mavi and Maya.

At the end of the day it’s couch time in front of the fire.
