Naseem Bano was an Indian film actress who worked in the Hindi cinema during the 1930s and 1940s. She was known for her beauty and grace, and was given the nickname "Pari-Chehra" (fairy face). She was the mother of actress Saira Banu and mother-in-law to the actor Dilip Kumar.

Naseem Bano was born in Old Delhi, India, on July 4, 1916. She began her acting career in the mid-1930s, and her first film was Khoon Ka Khoon (Hamlet) (1935) with Sohrab Modi. She went on to act in a number of films, including Pukar (1939), Toofan Mail (1939), and Baiju Bawra (1952). She retired from acting in the mid-1950s.

Saira Banu is an Indian actress who worked in the Hindi cinema during the 1960s and 1970s. She was one of the most popular actresses of her era, and was known for her beauty, grace, and acting skills. She was married to the actor Dilip Kumar for 55 years, from 1966 until his death in 2021.

Saira Banu was born in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, India, on August 23, 1944. She is the daughter of actress Naseem Bano and film producer Mian Ehsanul Haq. Saira Banu made her acting debut in the film Junglee (1961), opposite Shammi Kapoor. She went on to act in a number of films, including Waqt (1965), Devdas (1965), and Shakti (1982). She retired from acting in the early 1990s.

Naseem Bano and Saira Banu were very close. Naseem Bano was a great support to Saira Bano during her career, and Saira Banu was very devoted to her mother. Naseem Bano passed away in 2002, and Saira Banu was devastated. She has said that she will never forget her mother, and that she will always cherish the memories they shared.
