Residents of the small Wimmera community of Dimboola have started returning to their homes, after the town was largely spared by a rapidly moving bushfire last night.

A popular accommodation and wedding venue, along with at least two homes, were destroyed by the out-of-control bushfire, which ripped through the Little Desert National Park in western Victoria.
