Many ehlers-danlos syndrome and hypermobility spectrum disorder patients have to travel long distances to receive the medical care they need. Some even have to travel out of their country, and of course others simply do not have access to proper medical care at all. I hope that more doctors and surgeons will specialize in EDS in the future, so we don't have to travel so far for treatment!
