"Imagine a Different World and Create it."

I composed this piece six years ago, seated on a train with nothing but an old laptop and the free version of MuseScore. I remember feeling unsure which stop in life to take. I had no place to truly call home, or at least not one where I felt I belonged. I had been exiled from the one I knew.

In that moment, music became my refuge.
I wasn’t just creating melodies, but a place to escape to,
a Different World, imagined and made real through sound.

The train carried me physically forward, while the music carried me emotionally somewhere far beyond.

This piece will forever hold an important place in my heart. It was born from a time of loneliness, but it became a reminder that even in the darkest of transits, creation can lead us to somewhere new,
somewhere meaningful.

Six years after the creation of this piece, I performed it in the Austrian Alps,
a place that, like the work itself, felt like a Different World.
