The automated SilverPrill system is built for the mining industry. During research and analysis of mining blastholes, many different analyses are done. The procedure involved in this automation project is to dissolve grinded ground samples using concentrated acids to analyse them for the presence of different elements using inline AA instruments.

The process is very dangerous when it is done manually. By automating the process, a healthier climate is created in the lab. Also the number of samples analyzed per day will increase by this automated mode of operation.

The system is constructed to prepare up to 80 samples per hour for determination of the amount of Silver (depending on the digestion times selected for the method), and running 24/24 continuously.
