Eracing lab rs mega ultimate 7dof rig 1 year on

A quick update on 1 year with this rig, covering any issues that have cropped up along the way. I mostly use this for rallying so it does get tested well. one mistake in the commentary I should have said is the lower Surge platform, not traction loss. This is the critical one as all the load goes through this one, and it must support you and your rig, then have the leg actuators attached and then resist twisting on landings when you don't land even ie both front wheels at the same time lol.
As far the small noise issue it's from the rose joint and the grease seams to help, but obviously may not last that long 🤔. to be fair it doesn't bother me but the mic always pics up on it so much more than it is, my missus only ever comments on the noise of the cars not the rig lol.
The only alterations have been to reduce the distance between the front and rears actuators initially from 1200mm to 1000mm and that Eracing have provided a spec down to 900mm spacing. to be honest I can't really tell the difference from 1000mm but did notice when moving from 1200 mm down to 1000mm .
So in summary nothing broke lots of fun/ hours of racing still the best bang for spend in motion setups enjoy
