In a thrilling Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 encounter, the Gujarat Giants pulled off a dramatic win over the Mumbai Indians Women to book their place in the Eliminator of the tournament. This win was historic for Gujarat, marking their first ever victory against Mumbai Indians in WPL history after eight straight losses. The result also confirmed their position in the Eliminator, while Mumbai’s playoff fate now depends on the outcome of the final league match. Guam’s camp celebrated the breakthrough with fans after a high-pressure finish.
