Tattenhall Tough Team Race | Trail and Road running Vlog

Today I took part in the Tattenhall Tough team race. A unique event that takes place in the Cheshire countryside starting at the Tattenhall cricket club.

The race is a big favorite with local running clubs and after taking part its clear to see why! It's a team race with 3 people in each team. You're team time is taken when the last runner in your team crosses the line. I was lucky enough to be asked to Join a team with some really great runners in my local club, Chris and Rob, who had both recently ran sub 40 10k times.

The run starts out on the road but then winds up hills on trails through woods. The main feature of the race is the "stairway to hell" In the video I called it the railway to hell, ooops. But it is a railway! It's incredible steep and leaves you wondering were you legs have gone by the time you get helped to the top by the grim reaper!
