In a large flat area at over 900 meters above sea level, Morgex enjoys a privileged position in the center of Valdigne, close to the famous ski resorts of Courmayeur and La Thuile, to which it is connected through the panoramic Colle San Carlo. Despite the typically alpine environment, vineyards are grown here up to 1200 meters above sea level to obtain the famous DOC Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle, known as "the highest wine in Europe".
